Stems in Water

  1. Trim stem ends and place in jar with an inch or two of water
  2. Loosely cover with plastic bag
  3. Refrigerate
  4. Change water every couple of days

  1. Wrap in damp paper towel
  2. Place in plastic bag
  3. Refrigerate

Wilted cardoon can still be used in cooked dishes; trim tough outer strings if needed.
