Refrigerated

  1. Do not wash until ready to use
  2. Store in perforated plastic bag or crisper drawer
  3. Refrigerate
  4. Trim greens if attached and use or discard separately
Cut/Prepared storage method for produce that has been cut open (shorter duration, different handling) 2-3 days

  1. Store cut pieces in water to prevent browning, or wrap tightly
  2. Refrigerate
