Paper Towel Lined Container

  1. Do NOT wash until ready to eat
  2. Remove any crushed or moldy berries
  3. Place in single layer on paper-towel lined container
  4. Store uncovered or loosely covered in fridge
  5. Keep away from ethylene producers
Freezing freezing method 6-12 months

Frozen

  1. Wash and dry, or freeze unwashed
  2. Freeze in single layer on baking sheet
  3. Transfer to freezer bags
  4. Best for jams, syrups, baking

Revival Tips

Soft but not moldy currants can be used for jam, syrup, or baking.
