Refrigerated

  1. Do not wash until ready to use
  2. Wrap in damp paper towel or store in perforated bag
  3. Refrigerate
  4. Trim greens if attached and use or discard separately
Cut/Prepared storage method for produce that has been cut open (shorter duration, different handling) 2-3 days

Cut Salsify

  1. Store cut pieces in acidulated water to prevent browning
  2. Refrigerate and use soon

Revival Tips

Trim dried or discolored areas; the rest is fine for roasting or purees.
