Refrigerated

  1. Do not wash until ready to use
  2. Store in perforated plastic bag or crisper drawer
  3. Refrigerate
  4. Keep away from ethylene producers if possible
Freezing freezing method 6-12 months

Frozen

  1. Wash and dry, then freeze whole or sliced
  2. Place in freezer bag
  3. Use in salsas, hot sauce, or cooked dishes

Revival Tips

Slightly soft serranos are still fine for salsas, pickling, or cooking.
