  1. Wrap stalks in damp paper towel or place in plastic bag
  2. Refrigerate
  3. Do not wash until ready to use
  4. Use while still firm and sweet
Cut/Prepared storage method for produce that has been cut open (shorter duration, different handling) 3-5 days

Cut Sugar Cane

  1. Store cut pieces in sealed container or wrapped in damp towel
  2. Refrigerate
  3. Use soon—cut ends dry out
