Long Produce ProKeeper

The Long Produce ProKeeper is an elongated storage container from Progressive's Prepworks/ProKeeper+ line, designed for longer produce that does not fit neatly in square containers - celery, asparagus, kale, chard, carrots and more. A clear, press-in lid keeps produce visible and includes a printed storage guide for common produce, while the removable base doubles as a colander for rinsing and draining. The modular shape stacks neatly to save fridge space.

Adjustable air flow vents on the lid let you dial in the right amount of ventilation for what you are storing, creating a customizable environment that the manufacturer says keeps produce fresh up to twice as long. The removable inner base acts as a colander so you can rinse produce and then let excess water drain away from the crop, keeping it off the bottom of the container where pooled moisture causes rot and slime.

By combining controlled airflow with drainage, the container helps balance the humidity around crisp-loving vegetables - enough moisture to prevent wilting, but enough ventilation to avoid the trapped condensation that leads to spoilage.
