Bread Wrap

An oversized 17" x 23" Bee's Wrap designed to wrap an entire loaf of artisan bread. The wrap breathes slightly, helping bread keep a crisp crust without going stale as quickly as it would in plastic. A vegan version is available with plant wax instead of beeswax.

Wrap the loaf cut-side-down and fold the wrap around it; press the seams together with your hands so the warm coating sticks to itself and forms a self-sealing parcel. Unlike a sealed plastic bag, the wrap is mildly breathable — that lets some moisture escape so the crust stays crusty rather than going leathery and damp, while still slowing down staling overall.

Best for bread you'll eat within a few days. For longer storage, slice and freeze. Hand-wash with cool water; the coating melts in heat.
