Organic Cotton Vegetable Crisper Bag

The Vejibag is a reusable produce storage bag made from GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton, grown, milled, and sewn in the USA. Instead of trapping vegetables in plastic, it surrounds them with a cool, moist, breathable environment that keeps leafy greens, herbs, and vegetables crisp far longer. It is machine washable, dryer friendly, and fully compostable at the end of its life. Available in Standard, Large, and Extra Large sizes.

To use a Vejibag, simply rinse it under the faucet so the cotton is thoroughly damp but not dripping, add your clean washed vegetables (whole or chopped), and place the bag in your refrigerator's crisper drawer. As moisture slowly evaporates from the surface of the bag, it circulates air and keeps the produce "breathing," maintaining a slightly humid microclimate around the vegetables. This mimics the way cut flowers stay fresh in a vase of water, keeping greens and veggies crisp and vibrant for up to twice as long as they would last in a plastic bag. If the bag dries out after a few days, just re-wet it to keep the environment humid.
