- Don't wash until ready to eat
- Place in high humidity crisper drawer or use damp paper towel if no crisper
- Store separately from other produce apples produce ethylene gas
- Check occasionally and remove any spoiled apples

- Wash apples
- Peel if desired (optional)
- Slice or chop
- Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning
- Freeze in single layer on a tray
