Stems in Water

  1. Trim stem ends and place in jar with an inch of water
  2. Loosely cover leaves with plastic bag
  3. Refrigerate and change water every couple of days
  4. Keep away from ethylene producers

Damp Paper Towel

  1. Wrap in damp paper towel
  2. Place in plastic bag or container
  3. Refrigerate
  4. Do not wash until ready to use

Wilted Swiss chard can still be cooked; it is often best when cooked.
