  1. Don't wash until ready to use
  2. Wrap tightly in aluminum foil allows ethylene to escape unlike plastic
  3. Store in refrigerator

Water Storage

  1. Wash celery
  2. Cut stalks to fit container
  3. Submerge in cold water in airtight container
  4. Change water every few days
  5. Store in refrigerator

Frozen

  1. Wash and chop celery
  2. Blanch in boiling water 3 minutes
  3. Cool in ice bath, drain well
  4. Transfer to freezer bags
  5. Best for soups and cooked dishes
