  1. Do not wash until ready to use
  2. Wrap kale in dry paper towels
  3. Place in zip-top bag or container; squeeze out excess air
  4. Refrigerate in crisper with stems toward the back
  5. Keep away from ethylene producers

  1. Trim stem ends and place in jar with an inch of water
  2. Loosely cover leaves with plastic bag
